Join a fun, beginner-friendly day of outdoor rock climbing in the heart of the Adirondacks! Whether you’re new to climbing or looking to brush up on your technique, this guided group outing is a great way to get on real rock, meet fellow adventurers, and experience the beauty of the High Peaks region. All equipment provided — just bring your sense of adventure!

We'll meet up at The Mountaineer in Keene Valley and then caravan to one of the classic local crags — Beer Walls, Tillman's & Shipton's Aretes, Jewels & Gems, King Phillips Spring Wall, Creature Wall, or others — where your guide will set up ropes and help everyone get climbing. We'll tend toward 5.Fun routes, but harder grades can always be set up for an extra challenge.

Note: Open Group Climbing days are centered around getting in laps on outdoor rock with fellow climbers. You'll surely pick up some coaching on technical skills, but for more individualized and specific instruction, we encourage you to book a private guided climbing trip or join a skills workshop.
