Advanced Rock Climbing

Are you ready to take your climbing skills to the next level? Book an advanced rock climbing session specifically designed for those looking to expand their abilities in a safe and supportive environment. We will focus on key skills that you pick out like leading, placing traditional gear, multi-pitch climbing, and building solid anchors, all aimed at making you a more confident and capable climber.

And, of course, we’ll get in plenty of pitches as we tour the classic Adirondack routes at Pitchoff Chimney Cliff, Chapel Pond, the Beer Walls, Barkeater Cliff, or one of the dozens of other fantastic roadside crags.

Sunset Rappels

Slide Climbing

The Northeast is home to some of the most iconic slide climbs, drawing adventurers to its rugged beauty and challenging terrain. Among them, the Trap Dike on Mount Colden stands out, with its alluring features and steep waterfall-polished rock that makes for an exhilarating ascent. Full Day (up to 8 hours)

A full day to go cragging at one or two of our best roadside cliffs, get private instruction on specific skills, or climb classic Adirondack multi-pitch routes (Chapel Pond Slab, Quadrophenia, Pitchoff Chimney Cliff, etc.).

Alpine Day (up to 12 hours)

For the longest and most remote routes. Available for adventurers who want to explore backcountry crags (The Courthouse, Avalanche Lake, Wallface, Rooster Comb, Noonmark), or make technical ascents in the High Peaks via routes such as The Diagonal, the Trap Dike, or slide climbs.

Choose a trip type, preferred date, and number of people. Everything is flexible, including the meeting time, group size, and adventure type.

Once you make your deposit, the date is reserved just for you and we will reach out within 1-2 business days to confirm the trip details and discuss any goals you have for your adventure!

When winter arrives, the climbing doesn’t stop. We pull out the ice axes, mountaineering boots, and crampons, and start scaling frozen waterfalls. The Adirondacks—with its cold and wet winters—offer stunning ice flows accessible just minutes from town. All the special equipment is included, and there are climbs appropriate for everyone.
