High Peaks Basecamping

The High Peaks are the crown jewels of Adirondack hiking, reaching the highest points in New York State. We’ve been exploring the peaks for years, honing in the most efficient and scenic ways to reach their remote summits and we think that backpacking in and establishing a basecamp is the best way to tick off multiple peaks in one go. By backpacking in with your tent and overnight gear, the days can be more relaxed and enjoyable with reduced mileage. Plus, you get to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the scenery of the ADK at a slower pace.

We can provide everything you need — backpack, tent, sleeping bag, cooking gear, and food — so all you have to bring is your hiking boots and strong legs!

Each day brings new challenges and breathtaking vistas, creating lasting memories and a sense of accomplishment as you conquer each peak along the way.
